Fame has its benefits-lots of money, fancy cars, great vacations anywhere around the world. But the most beneficial attribute of celebrities is their power to influence through charity work. Although several talented actors, musicians, and politicians provide relief for causes such as human rights, AIDS, and adoption, U2's history of charity, change, and positivity is motivational. The band is actively involved with organizations such as Make Poverty History, Live 8, and DATA campaign, which lead singer Bono started. In addition to the DATA campaign, Bono has helped to create the ONE Campaign,(RED) and EDUN, a clothing company which strives to encourage trade with struggling countries with poverty.
